Hill Creek Vineyard

	PEOPLE OWNERS Lou Ann Bauer, a San Francisco Kitchen & Bath Designer, and Nancy Yost, a San Francisco Architect, wanted enough acreage that they felt away from the urban stress. They are both "get your hands dirty" type of gals. They are eager to learn about how things grow and how science and nature come together.

			VINEYARD MANAGER Greg Hanson, second generation farmer in Lake County of grapes and pears, planted our vineyard in 1999. Beringer considers him one of their finest growers. We are lucky to have Greg Hanson as our vineyard manager.

	Leon Martinez and his wife Maria have been with Greg Hanson since 1978, and are originally from Nopalera, Mexico. They have raised all 4 of their children in Lake County.

			SECURITY Ranch dogs yellow lab, Mike, and chocolate lab, Joe, can always be found in our vineyard chasing the deer, turkey and rabbits through the vines.

	HARVESTERS - Holdenreid Harvesters of Lake county have mechanically harvested and trucked our grapes to the winery since 2005.
