Hill Creek Vineyard - Our Mission

	Our MISSION We not only want to produce an excellent quality grape, but also we want to live next to a healthy, organic vineyard. From soil to juice, we are involved in analyzing, adjusting and growing a premium Sauvignon Blanc grape. We believe that growing high quality grapes are a reflection of their terroir - the combination of soil, topography and microclimate and people. Our site is unique and an ideal location for growing Sauvignon Blanc grapes.





			Organic farming has been proven in studies to build soil better than conventional farming. It also encourages other wildlife and friendly insects to make our vineyard their home also. We plant a cover crop annually that includes organic oats, barley, and fava beans. These cover crops not only add nutrients to our soil, but have also decreased our weeds in the rows. Our hawks, owls and bats are also helpful in managing our vineyard enemies.
